Step into Professional Life: Seminar on Production, Human Resources, and Career Strategies

On Friday, April 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., Balıkesir University Bigadiç Vocational School (VS), in collaboration with BEST Inc., organized a seminar entitled “Stepping into Professional Life: Production, Human Resources, and Career Strategies” at the Bigadiç VS Conference Hall. The event, particularly aimed at students of the Electrical Program, offered an important opportunity to connect with the industry.

During the seminar, Gürkan CAN, Production Manager of Distribution Transformers and Dry-Type Transformers at BEST Inc., Burak AYÇİÇEK, Distribution Transformers Production Engineer, and Oğuz Han KILIÇ, Human Resources Specialist, provided insights on transformer production processes, production planning, recruitment processes, career planning, and strategies for achieving success in the sector.

The seminar continued interactively with questions from the participants, contributing to students’ acquisition of both technical knowledge and career awareness.

The event drew great interest from Assistant Directors Lecturer Dr. Fehime GÜNBEGİ and Lecturer Hüseyin ÖZSOY, Head of the Department of Electricity and Energy Lecturer Dr. Oktay KARAKAYA, School Secretary Nurgül KARABAYIR, academic staff, and students.

The program concluded with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers and a group photo session.
