The Electrical Program Advisory Board Meeting Was Held.

The Advisory Board Meeting of the Electrical Program of Balıkesir University Bigadiç Vocational School was held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 15:30 via the online platform BAUNMEET.

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Oktay Karakaya, Head of the Department of Electrical and Energy at Bigadiç Vocational School. In addition to academics, sector representatives, graduates, and students also participated in the meeting. Participants included Cüneyt Ceyhan, R&D Manager at İşbir Elektrik San. A.Ş.; Suat Özgeçen, owner of Özge Teknik and a graduate of our program; Dr. Şevket Cantürk, Head of the Department of Electrical and Energy at Sındırgı Vocational School; Enver Erkan, Lecturer in the Electrical Program; and Eren Erden, Quality Representative of the Electrical Program and a student.

During the Advisory Board meeting, it was stated that the Electrical Program curriculum is generally adequate and that the course contents are up to date. However, it was emphasized that including current installation technologies and topics related to their project design in the course contents would further enhance the currency of the program.

At the end of the meeting, it was stated that the suggestions received would be taken into consideration in the program development processes, and the positive impact of external stakeholder contributions on the quality of education was emphasized. All participants who contributed to the Electrical Program Advisory Board meeting were thanked.
